Substitute cream for milk in your drinks or meals. Cream has much less carbs in than milk. On average you are looking at 3g per 100g which is not too bad.
When drinking wine always choose red wine. And when choosing red wine always choose a pinotage or a merlot. I find the other wines just push my blood sugar up.
When testing blood sugar levels, use the side of your finger tips and make sure your hands are nice and warm. Blood will be easier to get.
