Low Carb Hot Cabbage Salad
1/2 head of cabbage of your choice
200 g diced bacon
1 large onion
250 g mushrooms
salt & pepper to taste
1 clove garlic (optional)
Heat up the pan with some butter.
Dice onions, cabbage and mushrooms.
Add onions to the pan and brown them slightly. Add salt and pepper and sweet basil to the onions.
Add cabbage to the pan and fry till soft. Remember to stir every now and then so it does not burn.
Add more salt and sweet basil if needed.
Add mushrooms and bacon to the pan and fry everything together until cooked to your preference.
Finally sprinkle a bit of Parmesan into the mixture.
Remove contents of pan and place into a beautiful serving dish and add your choice of garnish.
The above ingredients serve 6.
